A home filled with violence and neglect is not a safe home - with or without a pandemic.

On the 17 September 19h00 we are holding the fundraising gala Safe Space so that we can give more vulnerable children and youth a safe space.

During the pandemic, we have been encouraged to stay at home, because it’s safest. But for many children and youth home is not a safe place, because there they witness or experience neglect or violence. Project Playground works to improve opportunities for children and youth in life through developmental and stimulating activities, psychosocial support and family strengthening work. We offer them a safe place together with adults they can trust and offer individual support so that each person can develop their ambition, confidence, and belief in a good future. The pandemic has made our work more urgent than ever.

On 17 September 2020, we invite you to our fundraising gala, Safe Space. During the gala, we will meet the children and youth at Project Playground’s centers in Sweden and South Africa. Amongst others, co-founder Princess Sofia of Sweden, politicians and children’s rights experts and well-known profiles will be speaking and performing. The gala will be streamed live in several countries and will be hosted by TV-host Renée Nyberg.
